20-20-20
20 min Cardio – 20min Strength – 20min Stretch. 20 min of each and the workout has been covered for the next 24hours! Join your certified leader with this TRIFECTA of fitness fun for all fitness levels. This class will raise your heart rate, get you warmed up in an Outdoor socially distance environment, or Online. You will have the muscles moving with various equipment and body weight and finally, compliment the regime with a cool down and stretch to send you on the rest of the day feeling your best!
Barre

Pilates and dance inspired movement to the beat. These moves that sculpt the muscles, are Low impact, but not low on fun or strengthening. Bring your own mat. Bring soup cans or light weights. If you do not have an SVAC mini band please pick yours up at the club.

Beginner Boots
Beginner programs welcome all fitness levels, especially those that have taken a break from fitness due to the pandemic restrictions. Bodyweight, and all the fitness equipment we can take with us outside. Bring a yoga mat and be ready to see what you can do. All classes provide modifications with our certified leaders. Check your email 1 hour before class to ensure it is not cancelled due to inclement weather.
Beginner QueenAx Strength
Beginner programs welcome all fitness levels, especially those that have taken a break due to the pandemic restrictions. We welcome you into a challenging strength-based program that puts FUN into Functional Training. Using the QueenAx suspension in Studio 6 news tools to use with the expertise of your Fitness Professional you will stabilize, build, and swing into strength. Stronger than you are now, let’s build STRENGTH together.
BOOTCAMP
Be prepared to work with your body weight! This workout will use your full body and see what you can do! We will incorporate equipment as the weather conditions allow. You will be challenged in this class and excited for the next one. The kind of class you have to talk about. Be prepared to take your fitness to the next level! We have outdoors at SVAC Bootcamps as well as Field Trip Bootcamps all over St. Albert and into Edmonton at Griesbach and Starling.
Cardio Kickboxing
Kick it up a notch and let out those frustrations! We will kick the air, jab, cross and upper with form and strength all in the fashion of cardio with the core. Join SVAC members in a non contact workout sure to get your body moving towards stronger.
Danceletics

Dance-Letics is a high energy Fitness class that combines cardio dance, strength, & combative movements to create the ultimate full body workout. All fitness levels can enjoy easy-to-follow choreography that keeps participants moving and sweating to the beat of today’s hottest music! Not a dancer? No problem! Fitness is movement. Move your body and find your own flavor! Looking for a fun way to challenge your fitness, build confidence, strength & endurance? Get moving with Dance-Letics!

Gym 101
Are you ready to learn more about the equipment on the gym floor? New to the club or have been here for years this class can give you the knowledge and a new routine. Personal Trainers at SVAC are Certified and will ensure you are cared for any modifications you need.
HIGH Fitness
High intensity interval training with Choreography suitable for all fitness levels with options provided for plyometric and non impact. Boost your fun with music and muscle. HIIT 30

Join us in a 30 min workout, for all fitness levels. Intervals, done as intensely as you can to train your body with cardio and strength. Certified trainers will choose your work rest ratios based on science and get your body responding! Bring a yoga mat and be prepared to grab equipment from SVAC.

HIIT and Core
High Intensity Interval Training at your fitness level as the certified trainer will show options to meet your needs, then focus on the Core to strengthen and improve mobility. Rest and Work Ratios calculated by the Fitness Professional based on the science of training and will be sure to rock you to the core.
LIFT
Strength will grip your muscles all over your body including your face as you sweat to the beat. Your face will be using all its muscles to smile! All fitness levels will be welcomed and challenged. A choreographed program that requires you to use your brain and keep with a sequence that the Fit Pro leads you in.
Mobility Stretch and Fascia Release

Your body has worked hard all week! Enjoy these postures to reset your body for the week to come. Using Foam Rollers and holding stretches to release any built up muscle tension. All fitness levels. Dress in layers. We can not lend yoga balls as we are in pandemic times. We do have Foam rollers for you to use, please bring a mat.

Move it Low
A low impact workout suitable for beginners and seniors. Gently paced, comfortable to follow exercises will be shared. Join your experts in a fun class filled with understanding and smiles. Pick up your SVAC mini band at the desk for your use.
Obstacle Course Training
All fitness levels welcome in this functional training playground. Do you want to see what challenge means to you? This workout will prepare you for obstacle races like Spartans, Warriors, Rise Up, Tough Mudder and more! This training will give you a strength and cardio workout to have you prepared if we underwent the zombie apocalypse or a pandemic! Dress for the outdoors! Bring water. Our Trainers are Obstacle Specialists that will have you moving and using everything from Grip Strength to the ability to Roll.
Pilates Mat Flow
Bring your mat and deepen your core connection, body awareness and control. We will use the breath to flow through exercises. Get ready to sweat and burn as we move to the music using Ballet, Pilates and Yoga inspired moves. This is a low impact (no jumping), full body toning workout with lots of modifications available. The focus is on developing long lean muscles with lots of core and booty work.
Pilates Reformer Day of Week
Pilates with the small group touch in a socially distanced fashion. Join your leader with expert direction and strengthening core time together. Please bring a mat and be prepared for mat pilates.
POUND
Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Please bring a mat, and grab cans or small weights if you do not have your own riptstix to use.
Pound to Lift
1/2 dynamic drumming and choreography to the beat, then 1/2 muscle madness to the beat! This program is sure to keep you moving and those muscles burning, all while you have fun! Certified Group Fitness leadership and a playlist that will have you using Shazam!

RUN CLUB

Join Stacey and a crew to explore the trails and curbs of St. Albert. Bring water, mosquito spray and sunscreen. Always on, unless -35! We are Canadians eh? We can run in any weather. ALL FITNESS LEVELS WELCOME! Dress in layers. We will carry your body through series of poses that will evoke your strength within. The perfect class to lose yourself in your capabilities. Outdoor class.

Sculpt 360
Full body workout. All the muscles you know you have and some you are reminded of. This class will keep you lifting, reaching, lunging from beginning to end. Bring what you have at home, dumbells, cans, plastic jars, water bottles and liquid laundry soap, even facecloths and paper plates.

SPIN 30
Let it ride! SVAC has only Certified leadership to help you ride that stationary bike closer to your goals with all the fun you need with drills music and motivation. If online, at home, you need a spin bike or a treadmill for this class then join your dynamic leader for Cardio with excitement! If at an outdoor or indoor class here at SVAC we have the bike for you! Hills, Valleys, Sprints, Races, and MORE!
Spin Introduction
Spin and cycle and ride! Enjoy the bike that we usually ride indoors, outdoors! Hills sprints and the wind in your hair! Are you ever interested in taking 5 min to set up the bike perfect for your ride? What about knowing the Max RPM / Cadence or Min? Why come out of the saddle? Challenging for all fitness levels and welcoming those that are new in this inclusive class. Options are given always. Each class we do this to ensure you get the best out of your time at SVAC. Stronger, Together – Watch for an email 1 hour before class to advise if the weather is inclement and class is cancelled.
spin and stregth/core/stretch
These are all programs that will integrate 30 min of Spin and 30 min of the mentioned focus. Some classes will have the first 30 on a bike, then 30 off, others will have some drills on a bike, then off and back on a few times. Our Leaders are certified to use all your muscles and heart in a safe effective and fun class.
SPIN

Join us for 45 min or 1 hour on the stationary bike that will have you wheeling closer to your goals. With Certified leaders, drills can have music incorporated or the watts of power or the time. All leaders are dynamic and all they need is you with them to enjoy the energy of the group to the fullest. Hills, not valleys, Roads and Trails, Up the mountains for the view and sprinting with your friends.

Stick Mobility

MOBILITY + STABILITY + STRENGTH!
Stick Mobility combines joint mobilization, strength training, and deep fascial stretching to increase athletic performance, reduce the risk of injury, and speed recovery. Bring your mat.

Strength FIIT
The class is titled Strength FIIT so that you can explore your strengths and challenges. FUNctional Intentional interval training. Certified leadership will take your workout to the next level!  Grab an SVAC mini band from the front desk to use for this workout. For Online, if you have cans, dumbbells, water bottles, face cloths or paper plates, have them ready. For Outdoors and Indoors we have every piece of equipment you will need to challenge the mind, smile muscles and more.
Step and weights

Get ready to move to the beat of the music and lift some iron. Join this dynamic workout, knowing it will put a smile and some glisten on your face. Arrive 5 min before. Bring a full water bottle. The class will cancel in inclement weather, read email 1 hour before to ensure the status of the program that day.

TABATA

This format was created by Dr. Izumi after he researched how to improve conditioning in Olympic athletes! Expect 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest 8 times, one muscle group, then on to the next. Dress in layers, be prepared to have fun! Bring a mat. If the weather is inclement class can be cancelled 1 hour prior.

TEAM Training
Group Fitness or Sports Specific. Do you have a Team of Athletes or a team of family, friends or co-workers? Do you want to train for an event or tournament with a leader that is certified to get you to the trophy or goal? Maybe your co-workers love to have fitness fun together and we can provide a private class. Perhaps your family wants to get out together and support your journey. TRX and Strength

Suspension training with your perfect weight to strengthen your body. Building lean muscle to support mobility and flexibility. Strength with weights, steps and body weight added for a variety of training with your certified leader. All fitness levels welcome, modifications shown.

Aerial Yoga

These out-of-the-box workouts are no gimmick! Take your Yoga practice off the ground in the QueenAx suspension Studio 6. Certified Yogi’s with Aerial Certification will safely guide you in the Instagram worthy program to stretch, strengthen and relive your muscles. Bring your yoga mat.

Gentle Yoga
Improve Strength, Flexibility, Mobility and Balance with this gentle Yoga class. All levels welcome. Bring your yoga mat, as well as if you have any personal props such as a Bolster, Strap or Blocks. We will have props, that are available for your usage. SVAC has amazing Yogi’s to ease you into all yoga programs to help you train smart, for Mind Body and Soul.  Dress in layers. All Fitness levels welcome.

Happy Hips Restorative Yoga

Join our expert yogis as they lead your body and mind through mobility and stretch for your wellness. Restore the way you move to keep you active. Bring your mat and any props you may have. Hatha Yoga
