AMENITIES
What amenities do I get with a membership?
All memberships offer the following:
- A Complimentary Equipment Orientation
- A Free Consultation with a Personal Trainer
- 1-month Free ½ size locker
- Access to Infrared Sauna
- Complimentary Locker Room Toiletries provided
- Access to beauty hot tools/appliances in Locker Rooms
- Access to Free complimentary salon product in the change rooms
- Free tea and coffee
- Customer Appreciation Nights
- Free smoothie punch card from Mode Juice Co. and access to product in lounge
- Discount at all Supplement King stores and access to product in the gym
TIME MANAGEMENT
Why are members expected to be on time for fitness classes?
- Instructors carefully choose warm up exercises, intention setting, and class expectations. In the first minute we target heart rate, muscles, and mindset which prepares you for the upcoming activity. Being late compromises participants as they have missed this class preparation.
- Late arrivals are a distraction to the instructor as well as the participants.
FITNESS CLASS WAITLISTS
How do the waitlists work?
- Book yourself onto the waitlist for a class that you wish to attend but is currently fully booked
- Members get off the waitlist when someone leaves a roster
- Waitlists are considered a class booking
- Members can get into a class up to one hour before class start time
- 75% success rate of getting off waitlist into class
Why don’t I get into a class when I am Number One on the waitlist?
- The class is still full
- The late cancellation came too close to the start of class (within 1 hour)
- The member has another booking in another class within the same time frame which prevents being removed from the waitlist
Can I cancel being on the waitlist?
- Yes, you may cancel at any time, even inside the 8-hour class start time window
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
How do I cancel my membership?
- As per the Terms and Conditions, 30 days written notice prior to the Billing Date is required.
- One final billing cycle is required

Can Members change their Membership Type?
- Yes, memberships can be changed. It works best when the change is made in alignment with the billing date; however, changes can be made at any time.
Can I put my Membership on Hold?
- Yes, memberships can be put on hold for medical purposes as well as a minimum of three weeks for vacation purposes. One vacation hold per year is allowed.
What is 'All-Access' membership?

The ‘All-Access’ membership gives you access to our state-of-the-art gym floor PLUS 200+ weekly classes, including Pilates, Hot Yoga, Spin, Boxing and many more. See our Fitness Class page for the full listing of classes we offer at SVAC.

What is 'Gym Access' membership?

The ‘Gym Access’ membership gives you access to our state-of-the-art gym floor with the latest and greatest in strength and cardio equipment. The SVAC gym floor includes a brand new turf and track area, along with Olympic lifting platforms, Crossfit equipment, Smith machines and hack squat equipment. What fees does SVAC charge?

ZERO sign up/enrollment fees.

Besides your monthly membership fee, you can rent a locker every month to store your items.

Late class cancellation and no-show fees apply for members who do not attend their scheduled fitness classes. Please see the ‘Additional Costs’ section below for more details.




CLASS INFORMATION
How do Members book classes?
- Download SVAC app
- Use SVAC website
- Ask front desk for assistance
When is the class schedule released?
- Second last Tuesday of the current month for the upcoming month
- This process begins in the morning and will take several hours to fully upload. An APP notification is sent when the schedule is complete
Why are members asked to wait 10 minutes before entering studios?
- For the member’s safety
- Insurance reasons
- Housekeeping staffs’ cleaning schedule
- Storage rooms in studios need to be accessible to SVAC staff
Can I switch classes?
- Outside of 8 hours, when there is room, you can remove yourself from one class to take another
- Inside 8 hours, the $10 late cancellation fee is applied to be taken out of one class to be put into another regardless of class numbers
What if I am checked into one class, but go to another or do Gym Floor instead?
- As the instructor confirms attendance with the front desk, the front desk would then apply the $15 No Show charge for missing the booked class.
Can I take more than one class per day?
- You can take more than one class per day; however you will not be allowed to take 2 of the same classes in one day (i.e. 1 Pilates Reformer, 1 Gentle Yoga etc.)
- Caution is advised – members are encouraged to be mindful of the number and types when booking multiple classes. Overtraining may result in injuries.
Can I leave a class early to go to another class?
- No, instructors plan their cool down to safely bring your body out of the workout. Leaving early puts you at risk of injury.
- Instructors and members are distracted by the early departure.
Are there beginner classes I can take?
- Pilates offers a 101 Pilates Reformer class for people with little to no experience using the reformer machines. 1 – 10 of these classes are suggested for beginners.
- All SVAC Instructors are certified to teach the classes they offer so they will be able to guide all fitness levels as well as offer injury modifications when asked.
Can I set up in a studio ahead of time to go do another activity?
- You may enter a studio 10 minutes ahead of time OR when the instructor teaching the class is present
What if the class schedule does not meet my personal schedule?
- With over 200 options on the Weekly Class Schedule we ask members to choose classes they can arrive to on time as well as stay for the entirety.
- Arriving late and leaving early disrupts the group fitness experience.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
What are the No Show and Late Cancellation Fees?
- $15 No Show fee is applied to booked class not attended
- $10 Late Cancellation fee is applied when a class is cancelled inside of the 8 hour start time
- Members must call or leave a message with the front desk at 780 460 9999 to Late Cancel or send an email to info@svacclub.com
- Members are strongly encouraged to remove their name from a waitlist if they cannot attend a class as the lists move quickly
How do drop ins work?
- $20 for a drop in pass – Gym Floor and/or maximum 2 Classes
- Staff will manually enter person’s name into first class booking
- If person wishes to take more classes, they can book using the SVAC app or website
- Please note that if you buy a drop in pass and decide to buy a full membership within a week of your drop in that $20 charge will be applied to your second month membership fee
How much is a key fob?
- First one is complimentary
- Replacements are $5
- QR Code Scanner on the SVAC app is an alternative to the key fob
PERSONAL TRAINERS
What is the cost of Personal Training services?
- Equipment Orientation and Consultation to discuss training or programming are complimentary.
- Personal Training costs range from $65 – $85 per hour. Group rates are less.
- Workout and Meal Planning Programs range between $100 – $150.
- 3-D Body scans are $50.00.
- These prices will increase for non-members.
What happens if I need to cancel my Personal Training session?
- Members should first contact their Personal Trainer directly if they need to cancel
- We require more than 24 hours’ notice to cancel a session.
- Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice will results in the member covering the cost of session.
Can members bring their own Personal Trainers into the facility?
- No, all Personal Trainers complete a vetting process with the Fitness Manager before they are able to provide personal training services.
- Consultations with personal trainers are a complimentary service
GYM FLOOR
Can I use chalk?
- Yes. Please be considerate of those with allergies, using the cleaning wipes provided when you are done with the equipment.
I am training for a specific event; can I bring in my own equipment to prepare for it?
- Please speak with our Fitness Manager in regard to special equipment required for your training.
FOOTWEAR
What footwear is required?
- Yoga studio is barefoot. You may wear shoes to get to the studio and then remove for class.
- Bare feet or stocking feet on the gym floor is at the discretion of the member
Can I wear outdoor shoes in class or on the Gym Floor?
- No, we require a separate pair of shoes. When pebbles in the treads of outdoor shoes fall out, they can damage the belts on cardio equipment.

AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT
Can I move the equipment around the facility?
- No, each studio is stocked with the equipment required for a full roster of participants.
- Gym Floor is stocked with cardio machines, exercise equipment and accessories.
- See the front desk if you are not able to find a piece of equipment. If we do not have it in our facility, it may be purchased for use in the future.
