SVAC is happy to be hosting Fitness Alberta Group Conditioning on May 25-26 with Fit Pro and Trainer Danielle Smith.

Learn how to plan and deliver effective group fitness classes. Topics include:

  • Portable Equipment
  • Muscular Conditioning and Strength Training
  • Safe, effective movement combinations
  • Cardiovascular conditioning
  • Instruction and cueing
  • Use of music and choreography
  • How to plan a safe effective, challenging class to keep participants returning for more.
  • This 16-hour course is offered in person and virtually.

To register for this course you must have completed the Foundations in Physical Activity and Exercise course.

Step 1 Foundations in Physical Activity or challenging this Exam with relevant education is not required but recommended. However, SVAC will be hosting Step 1 The Foundations in Physical Activity and Exercise course in person, in June!!
