Foundations in Physical Activity
Join Danielle Smith and Naissa Preston for a 24-hour course that is the prerequisite to all other Fitness Alberta certification courses.
Step 1, Foundations in Physical Activity, will create the foundation that will successfully lead you into Step 2 of Personal Training or Step 2 Group Fitness instruction.
We will cover Anatomy, Physiology, Energy systems, Cardiovascular, Skeletal, and Muscular systems! This course is the perfect base to ensure you are engulfed in the Education of Physical Fitness. Fitness Alberta Standards has learning objectives for each topic and robust evidence informed, nationally recognized skills that will turn your passion into a career steppingstone
- Friday October 13th – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturday October 14th – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Sunday October 15th – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
